Abortion: National Divorce Or Civil War

The US has one of two choices facing them: national divorce or civil war. We are already in the midst of an ideological cold war between left and right and have been for decades, and the divide is only growing wider. If we don’t start the process of separation soon, the only inevitable outcome before us is a real civil war. I know this seems radical to even suggest, but it has become abundantly clear that the left and right can no longer co-exist together. There is no longer any common ground between them. There is no mild language I can use to write about this, for evil must be boldly opposed.

This past week we learned of the leak from the US Supreme Court (in and of itself a criminal act of insurrection against the courts) that they are on the verge of overturning the Roe v. Wade decision of 1973 that found the “right to an abortion” within the constitutional Right to Privacy. It was always seen as bad case law but no one had the political will to do anything about it. Overturning Roe v. Wade will not ban abortion in the US, like many of the leftist, blue-haired banshees are screeching about, but rather it will send the issue back to the states to decide for themselves. This is how democracy is suppose to function, allowing the people to decide the laws that will govern them. But leftists hate another’s freedom and do not want a functional democracy where their power is diminished. Summer leftist riot season is now upon us and things are about to turn ugly.

We talk of a “mental health crisis” in this country yet no one is willing to name it: it is modern liberalism or leftism; the ideology of the mentally unwell whose beliefs are anti-human, dyscivilizational, and destructive of all that is good, beautiful, and true. It is a sickness of the heart and minds of these people fuelled by self-loathing, divisiveness, hatred, and cruelty, which they cloak in fake virtue. These are the people that want to laugh, cheer, and celebrate when a baby is ripped from the womb, yet cry at the thought of someone not using their make believe pronouns. These are not good people. They are a dangerous combination of weak and evil, like most tyrants throughout history.

In this latest round of the abortion debate, we have seen the most grotesque the left has to offer. Just today they bombed a crisis pregnancy centre in Wisconsin, and many online praised it. Everything they stand for is anti-human. They champion the murder of babies in utero while trying to save every animal or insect; and yet the irony is lost on them. They want to expand the bounds of assisted-suicide to include the homeless and mentally ill. They want to stop the use of fossil fuels which has lifted more people out of poverty than anything else in history. They want to “protect the earth” through their fake science of “climate change” which will bankrupt nations and kill millions. They want to give drug addicts needles to kill themselves slowly rather than give them the real help they need. They want to let criminals out of jail so they can offend again and again. They want strict population controls that take away the choice of others to procreate. And as the Covid pandemic has clearly shown us, they want to take away your informed consent as to what medications you can and cannot take. They have become a cult that wants control over everything you do. They want the “right” to abort babies up to and including the moment of birth when they are fully formed and viable. This is the depth of depravity we are dealing with.

The Romans use to let babies die from exposure (leaving them in a field to die from the elements) and other ancient cultures use to sacrifice their babies to the god Moloch. The modern left today has returned to a more sanitized version of baby sacrifice to the same god, on the altar of convenience and ease. Abortion is now a sacrament in this new secular religion; a rite that is celebrated by the godless. They despise hardship or the thought of their lives having any unnecessary discomfort. They want to bear no consequences for their own irresponsible behaviours. They want the easy way out. We are no better than the Ancients if we permit this modern version of barbarism to happen to our most vulnerable.

The time has come for a national divorce; the left and right can no longer live together when their views on life, liberty, and virtue are diametrically opposed to one another. We must separate for the sake of peace for we cannot continue down this road of constant division, for it will inevitably result in war. If history teaches us anything it’s that evil will always lead to death and destruction. Without question, abortion is the purest form of evil in society today. We need to geographically separate. We need to allow the leftist death cult to live in the world they desire where life is devoid of meaning and pleasure is the only worthy pursuit. And when their nihilism leads them into such despair that they will do anything to escape it, only then can we let them over the wall to where the light shines. Until then, we can “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,” and we “must expose them.” There can be no compromise on abortion. Ever.

On this Mother’s Day we lament what the left has made of motherhood; of womanhood. We feel the pain of many mother’s whose only child became “medical waste.” We sorrow over the millions exterminated for convenience. And we long for a time when a future generation will look back on abortion as the heinous and immoral crime that it is, much like we view slavery today. We can only hope.

The Progress Of Evil

I found this letter to the editor I wrote from April of 1994, 28 years ago. It sounds like I could have written it yesterday. I haven’t changed much since then, but clearly the overt evil in the world has become more bold and prolific with each passing year.

The one thing we can be certain of is this: that the entropy of this world is towards evil, continually. It takes an effort to withstand it. Our politicians have adopted evil practices in every sphere of life and we are overwhelmed by the decline as they boldly proliferate the trans nonsense and the sexual grooming of children, the authoritarian Covid policies now in place, crippling national financial debt, and the restrictions on speech and ideas, just to name a few. The old saying holds true, that “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

They’re Just Like Us…Apparently

He was a person of authority: a county court judge. He was the president of an organization that organized the interaction of mentally ill drag queens and children. He is a gay man and an adoptive father. He is a pedophile. This is the story of Brett Blomme and it is disgusting on so many levels.  It occurs far more often than we are led to believe. (Planned Parenthood also endorsed Blomme for his position on the court; not surprising that another child-hating organization pushed this man on society).

The media and gay lobby groups hide the facts: homosexual men abuse children at an astronomically higher rate than heterosexual men do. And it’s sad that as a society we allow it to continue under the guise of progressive ideals. As Vox Day has noted from the research, “homosexual pedophiles are 14 times more likely to be caught abusing boys than heterosexual pedophiles are caught abusing girls.” And this is why traditional societies have always sought to keep homosexuals away from children: because they actually cared about their well-being. Now we allow gay parents to adopt and drag queens to read to them all in the name of “wokeness,” degeneracy, and a desire to destroy the foundational mores of Western civilization.

Child abuse is horrific. It is almost axiomatic that abused children become the next generation of abusers. It is a sad and alarming part of humanity that child sexual abuse even exists; but this is the nature of man. Statistics show that those who turn out to be gay or lesbian were 3 times more likely to be abused as children. The sickness is perpetuated generation after generation and supposed “good people” stand by and cheer it on; whether as visible bystanders at a vile “pride parade” or as those who passively embrace the new sexual orthodoxy for fear of appearing intolerant. Tolerance of evil has never been a virtue in a strong and prosperous society.

No, this does not mean that all those who call themselves gay or lesbian will mistreat children or have a propensity towards pedophilia. But a greater number of them do and that should frighten us when considering the well-being of children in society. As they continue to seek positions of power, like judgeships, we will see a once strong society erode, while perversions are celebrated.

Yeats wrote this at the end of WWI during the Spanish Flu pandemic in which his pregnant wife was taken gravely ill. He lamented the world he saw around him, as many of us do today, and the evil that pervades so much of it. Look at how things have changed so rapidly over the past year or two and how evil has flourished:

We have a Chinese Virus pandemic, unleashed on the world, that has people living in crippling fear while the government closes down businesses and causes mass unemployment; making people more reliant on the State for their wellbeing. We have the race hustlers and domestic terrorist group, Black Lives Matter, running rampant through streets burning down businesses, beating and killing people, and spreading lies that the gullible and unintelligent help spread. We have progressives trying to ‘cancel’ people for ‘thought crimes’ when they do not share their wretched view of the world.

You are no longer allowed to have a different opinion. They will come for you. They will come for anyone who does not believe the way they do. They are the fascists and we are watching the tyranny of the left wash over the Western world; the same tyranny that made the 20th century the most bloody in human history. Evil takes many forms, but none more heinous than those forms which seek to dehumanize others. Evil is on the march, and is approaching ever so quickly.

We have a finite time here. Stand up to evil; do not fear it. Abhor those who seek to control you and your thoughts. Turn off the media. Don’t allow your mind to be taken captive. Don’t fall for things like ‘climate change’, ‘pandemics’, ‘racism’, or a host of other shams that seek to control peoples’ lives on a massive scale. The purveyors of these schemes are evil. As Michels says at the end, “We must learn to respond to evil, without becoming evil.” It’s also been said, ‘See that you walk prudently through this life, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, for the days are evil.’ Seek to be the light in a dark place; walk prudently, yet firmly; and do not compromise with evil.

We no longer live in a rational world. The progressive mind virus has spread and made people believe and advocate for irrational things. The clowns have taken over the circus. The logical, strong, and sane, that built a civilization that raised more people out of poverty than any other before it, have been replaced by the unstable, weak, and violent societal misfits who look to destroy all that is good, beautiful, and virtuous.

Over the past couple of weeks these are some of the things I’ve stumbled across. We are a society that elevates the mentally ill as innovative and edgy, and the perverse as empowered and normal. We now call evil, good; and good, evil. To wit:

Exhibit A – They want us to lift up the ugly and mentally unstable as beautiful and powerful. They have inverted what is good, beautiful, and true. They call those things that are ugly and grotesque, beautiful. They are trying to normalize those things that are hideous and monstrous.

Exhibit B – They blur the lines; every line. They try and tell us that gender is a social construct; that the categories of male and female no longer exist. Men are women and women are men. They normalize a lie and celebrate weak, ill, effete men; men who are not men in any meaningful sense at all. The lesbian writer and intellectual, Camille Paglia, has pointed out that the societal acceptance of androgyny (transgenderism) has historically been one of the final signs of a civilization on the verge of collapse. We are witnessing the collapse in real time.

Exhibit C – Transpeople are mentally ill. This is not normal. The literature for decades has shown as much. They are not stable or rational enough to wield power as this person’s decision above shows. We need to advocate for mental health services for transpeople to help them. If we truly cared about them we would try to help them, not reinforce their mental illness.

Exhibit D – The ultimate goal of the Leftists is the sexualization of children in order to normalize certain types of pedo behaviour. No child needs to hear that a certain character is gay; kids don’t watch cartoons with any thought towards sexuality. But the perverts in charge need to introduce sexuality at younger and younger ages in order to groom children for earlier and earlier sexual activity. This goes on in almost every sphere of life, with Sex-Ed curriculums being one of the first entry points in the sexual grooming of children.

Exhibit E – If you can control the words people say, you can control their thoughts and actions. Removing the word ‘master’ as a descriptor from words like ‘sommelier’ and ‘bedroom’ is just another incremental move in controlling what people can say and think. Calling someone a Master in a certain activity is to laud their achievement; it does not invoke the imagery of slavery. Do not allow your thoughts to be controlled.

Exhibit F – They further push to normalize the absurd; the biologically impossible. They do not want what’s best for children. For if they did, they would wholly reject same sex adoption because of the far poorer outcomes for children in these arrangements. If we really cared about children we would protect them from this. Society does not care. At all.

Exhibit G – The racism game is a lucrative one. Shake down corporations unless they bend to your every whim. It’s now racist to want whiter teeth. There isn’t a person on the planet who ever thought that whitening their teeth had sinister undertones; until 2020 of course. This will do nothing; less than nothing, to solve the fictitious problem of racism.

Exhibit H – Why does one need to celebrate their sexuality if it is a normal disposition? Why can’t they just go about their lives and live quietly and peacefully the way they want? Heterosexuals do not celebrate their heterosexuality because it is the biological default position of humanity. Only when you try and normalize the aberrant do you have to celebrate it as if it was normal. Do not be fooled. (They want allies; an ally. Put those words together, it’s no coincidence that they chose those words).

Exhibit I – They are not the future. They are fragile, weak, and a reproductive dead end. Hard times will come and this mind virus will die. This is the result of a decadent society that fails to keep boundaries around people and society that will prosper them. They have tried to normalize this. No civilization will survive with people who are so inwardly destructive.

They are Leftists, Progressives, Marxists. They are driven by a deep self-loathing and a lust to destroy that which is good and beautiful and true. They see themselves as defective and do their best to normalize their perverse desires and destroy that which is normal. They hate that others are happy and live productive lives so they set about to make others as miserable as they are. These people are evil; and we should never apologize or bow to the mob.

Sadly, civil war along ideological lines is coming. I just hope there are enough strong men able to do what is necessary.

Black Lives Matter And Race

George Floyd and Tony Timpa. The horrible murder of the former has set the US on fire, but no one has heard the name of the latter. Both men were unarmed and murdered by police in the exact same way. Tony Timpa was white, so no one cared. It did not suit the fake narrative of police brutality against blacks in America that groups like Black Lives Matter (BLM) perpetuate to a nation of morons who do not care about facts; a group of useful idiots that unwittingly give them power and control. Black lives do matter; that is unquestionable. They are human beings who bear the image of God. But not ALL black lives matter to BLM; they are selective in the cases they use for their race-baiting propaganda and agitation. They are the modern day incarnation of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson; the pre-eminent race-hustlers of this generation.

A few nights ago, David Dorn, a retired black police captain, was gunned down in the riots for trying to stop black looters from stealing TV’s. (WARNING: the video is graphic).  His name was not mentioned on CNN, MSNBC, or by any spokesperson for the BLM movement. Black lives matter, but not ALL black lives matter. David Dorn’s murder does not fit the narrative of racism and black persecution. Neither do any of the 23 murdered in 84 shootings in Chicago over the previous weekend; just another regular weekend in the windy city. These lives DO NOT matter to BLM because BLM is an organization of race-peddlers and race-baiters who do not really care about the real issues facing the black community. They are a political organization out for power and control using black grievances as their currency.

By watching all the unintelligent and emotional virtue signallers on social media this past week, it is easy to see how they are so easily manipulated into carrying water for groups like BLM. They throw around terms like “white privilege”, “systemic racism”, “white supremacist”, and “oppression”, without having a single clue about their meanings or origins (For the record, Privilege Theory and Systemic Racism are both myths derived from Marxist ideology and used to guilt people and remove their power. A separate article will appear on that in the future). Young, white, liberal millennials are perhaps the dumbest demographic on planet earth and their posts on social media often border on the comical: “If you don’t post a black square on Instagram it’s because you’re a racist;” “here’s a list of Netflix movies to watch to educate yourself on racism,” etc. They are devoid of knowledge and ignorant of the topic, yet need to virtue signal online for social credit and standing amongst their peers. They would never think to read a book by Thomas Sowell or Walter Williams, two black economists who have written extensively on this issue, and many others, for over 40 years, and present the entirety of the picture of the challenges facing the black community. Millennials aren’t interested in learning, only signalling their virtue to their followers.

Some facts to consider:

–Blacks kill more blacks than whites kill blacks. Blacks kill more whites than whites kill whites. And blacks kill more whites than whites kill blacks. FBI crime stats located here.

–Blacks make up 13% of the US population and commit 53% of all murders and 60% of all robberies.

–In 2019, 1004 people were killed by cops; 235 were black. 41 of the 1004 were unarmed. 19 of those were white, and 9 were black.

–In 2018, there were 7,407 black homicide victims; 70% of those were killed by blacks. Assuming a comparable number for 2019, that would mean those 9 unarmed blacks killed by cops represents only 0.1% of all black murder victims.

–Since 2015, the number of unarmed black men killed by cops has fallen to less than 10 per year.

–Over the past two years, more cops have been killed by blacks than unarmed blacks by cops.

–A cop is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black man than an unarmed black man is to be killed by a cop. Read that one again.

–Black people get killed by cops at a lower rate than whites.

Until BLM addresses these facts and statistics, we can only conclude that they don’t really care about ALL black lives; only those lives they can use to wield for political power. The predominant narrative of overwhelming violence towards blacks by the police force, pushed by BLM and the media, is not supported by the data and is objectively false. That does not mean that injustices has never happened; it just doesn’t happen at the rate we are told to believe.

On the day of his death, George Floyd was pulled over for using counterfeit money (stealing), which is a crime. His autopsy revealed he had both meth and fentanyl in his system and was driving under the influence at the time; also a crime. Previous to this, he was in jail four separate times; the last time for pointing a gun at the belly of a pregnant woman during a home invasion. If he obeyed the law, the interaction would not have taken place. Stealing should not warrant a “death penalty” but living as a law abiding citizen with minimal police interaction will ensure this doesn’t happen to you. People do not want to talk about the high rate of black crime that leads to these police interactions.

If George Floyd was white, would anyone have cared? The answer is clearly no. This reaction, and the riots than ensued, were a function of the racism narrative pushed by the media and hate groups like BLM. There is not a “pandemic” of police violence towards blacks. The data in no way supports that assertion.

Study after study has been done and the results are always the same. If a person completes high school, gets a full time job, and does not have a child out of wedlock, they have a 98% percent chance on NOT living in poverty; this occurs across all racial lines. That is the simple key to life success. But sadly, in the black community, that is not the reality. In the 1950’s, the black family was more intact than white families. Then something changed. Today, 77% of black kids are born out of wedlock and the incidence of single-motherhood is alarming and crippling to good life outcomes for their children. Fatherlessness is the pandemic affecting the black community, and no one wants to talk about it.

In 2008, Barack Obama gave a speech in a church on Father’s Day. He could not utter these words today for these words are now considered “racist”. No one wants to hear and reflect on the truth. He said in part:

But if we are honest with ourselves, we’ll admit that what too many fathers also are is missing — missing from too many lives and too many homes. They have abandoned their responsibilities, acting like boys instead of men. And the foundations of our families are weaker because of it.

You and I know how true this is in the African-American community. We know that more than half of all black children live in single-parent households, a number that has doubled — doubled — since we were children. We know the statistics — that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison. They are more likely to have behavioral problems, or run away from home or become teenage parents themselves. And the foundations of our community are weaker because of it.

How many times in the last year has this city lost a child at the hands of another child? How many times have our hearts stopped in the middle of the night with the sound of a gunshot or a siren? How many teenagers have we seen hanging around on street corners when they should be sitting in a classroom? How many are sitting in prison when they should be working, or at least looking for a job? How many in this generation are we willing to lose to poverty or violence or addiction? How many?

Yes, we need more cops on the street. Yes, we need fewer guns in the hands of people who shouldn’t have them. Yes, we need more money for our schools, and more outstanding teachers in the classroom, and more after-school programs for our children. Yes, we need more jobs and more job training and more opportunity in our communities.

But we also need families to raise our children. We need fathers to realize that responsibility does not end at conception. We need them to realize that what makes you a man is not the ability to have a child — it’s the courage to raise one.

Wise words indeed. If black lives really mattered to BLM, they would stop the nonsense about police violence and racism and look to heal their community morally from within. It all starts with the family. Improve this first and the problems of crime and poverty will begin to disappear.

Both blacks and whites face challenges; some similar and some different. Life isn’t easy nor is it fair to anyone. No one man is more valuable than another because of certain immutable traits they were born with. To say the black man in inferior or that all white men are racists is the very definition of racism. We should treat everyone with kindness and respect; no matter our differences. We should look to help those around us whose lives are difficult. Stop the name calling. Stop the sloganeering. Stop the virtue signalling. Stop the race-baiting. Look to help those less fortunate, no matter the colour of their skin. It’s really that simple.

Civilizational Collapse

Western Civilization is collapsing all around us and most people barely notice the rubble piling up everywhere. Nihilism, the pervasive ideology of the day, has so absorbed people that they do not even notice the burning edifices of the West all around them. Liberalism, or Leftism, or Progressivism, always leads to the eventual destruction of society as I’ve written about before here. We are in the final stages of civilizational collapse and the West is committing societal suicide as all once-great societies have done in centuries past.

1) Throughout history, all nations have declined morally from within first; weakening them to the point of collapse. The sexual liberation movement of the late 1960’s started our current decline which has been sped up by the full scale acceptance of homosexuality, transgenderism, and now the early defence of pederasty as a legitimate orientation in some circles. Camille Paglia has pointed out that the death throes of a society are normally seen in the open acceptance of homosexuality and transgenderism (androgyny) and the West is no different. When you openly embrace degenerate behaviour and normalize it, a society cannot be saved.

2) Every nation in the world is in debt; a debt so great that they will never be able to pay it off, which leads to the continual devaluation of its currency and the slow erosion of wealth of the average person. Debt, both governmental and personal, inflates asset prices so that life becomes more unaffordable for people as time passes. It separates the have’s from the have-not’s and magnifies the divide between rich and poor. As wealth becomes concentrated amongst the very few and the masses are thrown into poverty and a type of indentured servitude, social order breaks down and becomes increasingly more difficult to maintain. We are already seeing the signs of violent protests in parts of the world as governments enact policies that continue to expand this financial divide.

3) There are currently 102 million Americans that do not work and rely on government assistance for their needs. Approximately 55% of citizens are on some form of social assistance. A nation cannot stand when a minority of workers have to support the majority. The US economy is now a financial Ponzi Scheme that has gutted the middle class. Without a vibrant and productive middle class a nation will not prosper.

4) Over the past 2 years, the US has seen almost 70,000 deaths due to opioid addiction. The proliferation of drug use is a sign of how dark the soul of a society is. When people can’t face the horrible realities around them they turn to substances to numb the pain of their lives. One in eight Americans are now alcoholics. 15-20% are on anti-depressants with that number increasing every year. Nihilism leads to hopelessness, which in turn leads to the need for substances to blot out the pain of dreary and unfulfilled lives. People need transcendent purpose. Without it, we will continue to watch their lives destroyed by drugs, as despair and hopelessness overwhelms them.

5) Homelessness in big cities is making certain neighbourhoods unliveable. Watch this documentary on the homeless crisis in Seattle and observe the problems and policies that are causing the major American cities to rot from within. This is a crisis that continues to grow at an alarming rate, fuelled primarily by drug addiction, and politicians do not care. They do nothing to stop it.

6) We have become a people attracted to the banal and inane and are consumed by entertainment. When is the last time someone told you about a great book they had just read? With more entertainment choices vying for our attention we have countless ways to waste our time. If we further become a people that fills our minds with the latest show on Netflix, or relegate our reading to 140 characters on Twitter, then we will not be a people that advances in intelligence and wisdom. If we think nightclubs, and parties, and other forms of mindless “fun” are worthy pursuits weekend after weekend, then we will become worthless, uninteresting, and boring as a people.

Collapse does not happen all at once, much like the frog that boils slowly in the pot. In the end, collapse happens because people choose to elevate the evil, ugly, and disgusting things in our midst and curse the Good, the Beautiful, and the True. The progressive Utopia that the secularists promised us is what we now see all around us: a dysfunctional society. That is it. This is the best they can do. When the foundation of your house is built on decadence, perversity, and lies, it will crumble. We do not have much time left. The West, as we have known it, is finished.

Tattoos: A Disfiguring Epidemic

It is undeniable that there is a tattoo problem in the world. While it affects almost every age group, millennials in particular have taken to the pseudo art form and scarred themselves, in many instances, irreparably (it’s as artistic as cartoons or notebook doodles; we’ve lost the meaning of the word ‘art’). Is there any surprise that tattoo removal is now a booming business? I, like most, have noticed the trend towards tattooing by a generation that is known as impulsive, lacking in foresight, and narcissistic while demonstrating it openly with a poor aesthetic sensibility for all to see. Where once tattoos were historically the marks of pagans and tribal warriors, and then appropriated by military servicemen and violent gangs, they have now become the fashion statements of the short-sighted and impulsive, and in some cases the mentally ill. Multiple studies are starting to emerge that give us some insight into the tattooed in our midst. Just look at the #facetattoo hashtag on Instagram and see the mental illness of many people on full display.

At their very core, tattoos seek to modify not only one’s body, but the self-esteem of the recipient as well. It is a way for many people to envision a more perfect self, and in so doing, admitting their un-tattooed self is imperfect. Rather than working on the inner self and dealing with the esteem and body-image issues, many people have taken to scarring themselves as a bandaid solution for the greater internal problems not dealt with. An article in Psychology Today put it like this:

Today, tattoos have proliferated. While rationales can be as varied as the designs, all tattoos modify self-esteem as well as bodies. Like cosmetics, tattoos are prosthetic, since like an artificial limb they make up for something felt to be missing or inadequate. We’re always devising ways to enhance parts of our bodies, from diets and wigs to a Michael Jackson makeover. Once we’re self-aware, there’s really no such thing as a wholly “natural” body. We compete with others and ourselves to envision a more perfect us.

It should not surprise us that many people, especially millennials, feel lost in the world and are almost begging to be noticed. They feel unnoticed by the masses around them and tattoos, it is thought, will get one the needed attention and make them stand out as an individual. It is thought to be a method by which to improve one’s status in the world, albeit a shallow one.

Tattoos promise to make you attractive, as if you have a personal force akin to gravity. Notice me. The more attraction you command, the more attention you get, and the more life you have—as we see in the public’s devotion to celebrities and leaders. As the name says, hero-worship, too, has a religious character, and if you’re the hero, you’re superhuman. The more people you have thinking about you, the more of you there seems to be. In the wisdom of slang, you can be, if not godlike, at least a “bigshot.”

Sadly, what was once seen as rebellious to societal norms has become the norm as we’ve witnessed the inversion of virtue on a grand scale. It is no longer individualistic and daring to do exactly what everyone else is doing, yet this seems lost on the many who think they are exactly that.

While the statistics about men tattooing themselves are interesting, and do somewhat mirror the statistics pertaining to women, the stats that emerge about tattooed females tell a much bleaker tale of our cultural drift towards the nihilistic and banal. The most highly tattooed demographic is women in their 20’s (several studies conclude close to 40%) which indicates a massive rejection of classically feminine traits. Women of today have traded in their feminine power of natural beauty for trite and meaningless “girl power individualism” by adding the outward ink markings. The true power of the feminine has been abandoned for the traditionally masculine procedure; and this has been to the detriment of tattooed women and how they are viewed. (And any society that allows their men to be feminized and their women to be masculinized will not survive more than two generations. We are in the last stages of final decline). Studies have shown that men assess tattooed women negatively.

The few studies that have focused on men’s perceptions of tattooed women have found that these women are seen in a generally negative light. One study, for example, asked men to rate a 24-year old woman seen in a photograph on a range of personal characteristics. Some men were shown the photo with a black dragon tattoo on the woman’s upper left arm; others were shown the photo without the tattoo. When men saw the woman with the tattoo, they judged her as less athletic, less motivated, less honest, less generous, less religious, less intelligent and less artistic than when she displayed no tattoo. But Guéguen noticed one curious set of findings in this thin research area: While men see tattooed women as less attractive, they also see them as more promiscuous.

There exists a healthy body of research that indicates men exalt beauty in both long-term and in short-term mating, and in every one of them a women with tattoos is predominantly seen as a short-term partner; ie. not a quality long-term partner or responsible parent. This is why tattoos are considered “sexy” by men. Tattoos don’t make women any more attractive (in fact, in scarring herself she becomes less so), they simply provide an easy method of quickly identifying that she is more readily accessible sexually than her un-tattooed counterpart. Studies also show that various aspects of female appearance are used to evaluate their “mating value” and tattoos are always seen as a decrease in that value as women with tattoos generally engage in riskier behaviours.

After adjusting for all other variables, women who currently used tobacco and those who had used cannabis in the last 12 months were more likely to have been tattooed than women who did not use tobacco or cannabis. Increasing number of lifetime sex partners was also associated with a greater likelihood of being tattooed: 3% of women who reported one sex partner or none reported being tattooed compared to 30% of women with 11 or more lifetime sex partners.

And this comports similarly with the behaviours found in men that were associated with tattoos:

A number of behaviors were associated with having a tattoo for men. Men who smoked had twice the odds of having been tattooed. Men with more lifetime sexual partners were more likely to have a tattoo, eg, 1 in 25 men who reported one sex partner or none reported a tattoo compared to 1 in 4 men who reported 11 or more lifetime sexual partners. Men who reported ever being told by a doctor they have depression had 1.3 times the odds of having a tattoo after adjusting for all other variables.

In other words, tattoos are a marker for riskier and more unhealthy behaviours (in both men and women) and correlate highly with those who are impulsive and value short-term gratification over the lost virtue of self-control; who have a greater chance at having an unskilled job and lower level of education; who smoke; who do drugs (4 times the likelihood); who have 3 to 5 times higher the number of sexual partners than average; who have more than double the likelihood of having had an STD; who are more likely to identify as non-heterosexual; and who suffer from depression or other mental disorders. Tattoos are a window into the psyche and makeup of people, and if looked through clearly, reveals something underneath that is an unpleasant reality for many.

I don’t disagree that one persons “body art” is another persons tramp stamp; that on the surface tattoos can be viewed differently as perspectives can change over time. BUT, the research is pretty clear that across the board, tattoos are generally markers of deeper problems. I do feel some sympathy for early childhood sex abuse victims who are prone to tattooing themselves as a way of coping with their inner pain. But again, as mentioned previously, this just confirms that it is an outward sign of something mentally or emotionally wrong within.

…It was found that women with tattoos were more likely to be younger, to drink more alcohol, to have more psychiatric symptoms and to show borderline personality features than were the non tattooed women.  They were also more likely to report child sexual abuse and the conclusion is that tattoos in women are statistically linked to child sexual abuse, and to later psychopathology in some women (Archives Of Women’s Mental Health).

These criticisms do not come from a misunderstanding of different generations; it is not a generational difference that allows tattoos to be viewed differently. Millennial’s, overwhelmingly, are a broken generation and they use tattoos as a band-aid for their brokenness as the data so clearly illustrates. In fact, Generation Z, which follows the Millennials, by and large, have a much greater disdain for tattoos than their predecessors which means this trend is already lessening.

I fully support the freedom for people to ink themselves as they please, but not without judgement. We all make judgements every minute of every day and the research is clear that tattoos outwardly tell a story and reveal the inner psyche of the person who has purposely scarred themselves. The pendulum will eventually swing back, as fashion trends so often do, and many will be left with permanent reminders of their impulsiveness and poor choices in the blurred ink covering their body parts.

We should reject modern tattoo culture and the short-sighted view of life it embodies. Tattoos aren’t edgy anymore; they are a clichè. We should yearn for those things that are good and pure and look first to fix our problems from within, rather than mask them from without. The naysayers will say, “I love tattoos and will continue to get more!” That is their choice. But the studies and evidence are overwhelmingly clear that the tattooed reveal far more about themselves and their instability than merely their taste in “art” so-called.

A Costly Complacency

Last night, a suicide bomber walked into an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, and blew himself up, killing 22 people and injuring many others. It was another incident in a long line of barbarous Islamic attacks on innocent civilians.

It is a fact of history that Islam is a religion of the sword and has expanded through the use of violence; and that terror attacks were an effective element of war used by Mohammed himself against his enemies. When you allow the barbarians to peacefully enter through the gates, conflict will eventually arise and put the native population at greater risk. We see this everywhere as Muslims emigrate and increase their geographical presence and influence.

There was a time when the British people cared about defeating evil during WWII. They fought hard against the tanks and planes of the Germans because they were British people defending the British nation. If it were today, Hitler would only have to employ diversity and multiculturalism as his weapon of choice against the British to secure an easy victory. It’s hard to watch the West commit civilizational suicide by importing people that hate them and their way of life, and not naming the evil in their midst: Islam.

What a tragic and horrible event, and yet it is an event that we are told is “part and parcel of living in a big city” according to Sadiq Khan, the Muslim mayor of London. Get use to this: more attacks are coming. Get use to this new way of life. Hold a candlelight vigil or write something heartfelt on Facebook, or stand up in solidarity with others against “Islamophobia,” but actually do nothing. If you can’t name the evil; if you can’t eject the evil from your presence, get ready for more, get ready for worse. Submission to terror has never been this easy.

Now in case one thinks I’m being overly dramatic when describing the threat, a 2016 survey of British Muslims revealed some startling facts. Most notably, as it relates to this latest incident:

Four per cent–the equivalent of more than 100,000 British Muslims–told the researchers that they had sympathy for people who take part in suicide bombing to fight injustice. Asked if someone they knew was involved with supporting terrorism in Syria, just one in three would report it to the police.

100,000 British Muslims would approve of this attack and two thirds of them would not report a known jihadist to the police; that’s more than 2,000,000 British Muslims that would not report a known jihadist. The enemy is in our midst and we are inviting more. Is there any wonder why this continues?

There is only one solution for those with any fight left in them: send them all back. Every last one. They hate you and your way of life. This is a cultural and civilizational war that only one side knows they are fighting. Our own values of tolerance and peace are being used as weapons against us. Islam cannot be reformed; it’s original texts will not allow for it. Jihad against the West will continue until all men are under submission to Islam. We can fight, or we can submit. The most humanitarian option would be to repatriate all Muslims back to their homelands and eliminate the strife and conflict that comes with this unworkable type of diversity. Let men live in peace amongst those with whom they share the same values. It is really that simple.

We can remain complacent, but it will be costly. We can light candles or tweet against “Islamophobia” to virute signal that we are a progressive, tolerant people; or we can eject those in our midst that are responsible for the conflict, the terror, the death, that has become too commonplace. There isn’t another option.

Capitalism

I have a real hard time taking the left seriously because we have seen the horrible real world examples of what they advocate and it has always led to colossal failure. Communism and Socialism has failed wherever it’s been tried and yet progressives laud the evils of Capitalism and wish to return to those imposed, oppressive systems which are proven unworkable.

Between 1945 and 1955 the world tried the great Socialist experiment. Korea split into North and South. Germany split into East and West. China and Taiwan also split. These were identical countries and cultures that were divided; one side embraced a radical socialism with government controlled markets while the other remained free. Now some 60+ years later the verdict is in and the results are not unsurprising: the free economies are ahead of their socialist counterparts by nearly every measure of human well-being. They are vastly wealthier. They are safer. They have better healthcare. They have more rights for women and minorities. They have more general freedoms and better environmental records on the whole. And they did not suffer the same levels of violent government oppression that led to the death of millions of its own citizens. The outcomes could not have been more different.

Capitalism is not an economic system; it is what happens all by itself when men are free. Socialism, by contrast, can only happen by force and imposition upon a free people. It never just happens naturally of its own accord. This is why progressives are the real fascists; for everything they want is an assault on what men desire most: the right to live and act freely without government interference. Or simply put: freedom.

How can anyone remain a Socialist and advocate for political candidates that espouse Socialist rhetoric after the glaring history of failure for these collectivist ideologies is idiocy on a grand scale. It renders these advocates naive and historically illiterate. This is not to say that capitalism is flawless and not open to abuses; for men are naturally selfish and corrupt. But it is a platform that allows for honest trade and commerce between two parties and leads to fairer outcomes.

If you want to live in a Cuba or a Venezuela with empty grocery store shelves and few technological advances, then by all means, move there. Do not agitate for more government controls over the free movement of goods and the redistribution of another man’s wealth. Do not speak against the system that has provided you with the many modern conveniences you enjoy.  And don’t be surprised by opposition from those who want to retain their personal freedom and not have a system that is a proven failure foisted upon them by fools. We’ve seen this play out too many times already, and it has never ended well.

The American Dichotomy

I’ve spent many years and miles driving through various parts of the US. It is a beautiful country in so many respects, yet hard to look at in others. It is a nation that bears testimony to the power of freedom and hard work.

Being “the land of opportunity”, some of its people have amassed great wealth while others live and suffer daily in crippling poverty. Opportunity will never knock on all doors equally. This is a fact of the human condition and cannot be changed.

America showcases its opulence and at the same time tries to hide some of the most saddening displays of poverty. For every coastal mansion or large yacht there seems to be an unending supply of rusting mobile homes that house the impoverished and forgotten. You can’t drive through small town America without seeing the ruins of a people left behind.

I am for the free markets and the free movement of capital but one cannot survey the landscape of the US without seeing what greed and the corrupt nature of man has wrought. Despite the irrational rantings of liberals and those that seek to redistribute the wealth of a nation, the poor will always be among us. There will always be those for whom opportunities seem fleeting and unattainable.

I do know what the solution is. I also know that man will not do, nor can he do, what is necessary. It will get worse. The divide will grow. Hope and despair will always live side by side.

Civilizational Cycles

It’s an historical fact: eventually all societies die out or collapse. They are conquered by another or they collapse under their own decaying weight.

Civilizations are born from struggle and undergirded by virtue. Individual responsibility and personal restraint are its foundation and have proven time and again to lead to happiness and prosperity. But prosperity is a double-edged sword for with it comes the tendency towards complacency and complacency to laziness and entitlement. These in turn lead to the rise of vice and the ever increasing need for self-gratification.

Personal restraint and virtue are mocked by the progressives who have a new vision for the world and begin to undo all those things that were the very requirements for civic prosperity.

Foundational pieces are removed or done away with one by one as gratification becomes the ultimate attainment for the new narcissistic classes. Once a sturdy foundation is removed or altered a house cannot stand, and it collapses and disintegrates under its own weight. And the next generations fail to learn the lessons of those who have failed before them and begin again with a new found zeal to repeat it all over again.

It is almost axiomatic: Virtue leads to a prosperous society, and prosperity leads to complacency, vice, and the rise of a liberal progressivism; and this progressivism leads to cultural decay and disintegration.

This cycle will continue as the very nature of man dictates that it necessarily will. Weak men create weak, decaying societies. Out of the ashes of a weak and rotting society will arise strong men. Strong men will once again create strong societies until vice is allowed to rule and the cycle will continue. Very few ever see the walls crumbling around them until they are buried in the rubble.

The Gods Of The Copybook Headings

In 1919, Rudyard Kipling published his poem The Gods of the Copybook Headings which represented the time-tested and proven wisdom of old, pitted against the new ideas and moralities that proved pleasurable and fleeting, yet in the end, destructive.

As I pass through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place;
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “Stick to the Devil you know.”

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “The Wages of Sin is Death.”

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “If you don’t work you die.”

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four —
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man —
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began: —

Kipling seemed prescient in his ability to see where the “new wisdom” would lead, and in fact did lead, and how the principles of old held true time and again in the face of those who denied them. It is far more pronounced today and the progressive experiments we see all around us, that deny that which works and the way things were meant to be, will ultimately fail. But the progressive mind is not one that understands nor learns from history; and becomes evermore puzzled as to why they are doomed to repeat it.
