The Controlled Demolition Of A Nation

Imagine a father telling his children how much he loves them, then walking next door each morning to ensure the neighbour’s children have food on the table and clean clothes to wear while his own go without. No one would believe his words, and his actions would reveal the true contempt he had towards his own children.

That is what Prime Minister Mark Carney’s governing actions reveal; a loathing of the citizens under his care.

He has now been in office for over a year, and by almost every meaningful measure the lives of the majority of Canadians have gotten worse. Household finances are under greater strain, debt burdens are growing, investment is leaving the country, economic confidence has been obliterated, and the federal government continues to prioritize spending everywhere else except on the well-being of the people who elected it. (Last week Anita Anand announced $35 million in tax-payer funding to fight gang violence and crime in Haiti, while the weak Liberal crime policies at home continue to wreak havoc and make life here far less safe). Like the neglectful father, Carney speaks of a fictional prosperity for Canadians while loading them with insurmountable debt that is eroding their standard of living at an alarming rate.

To understand why many Canadians have lost confidence in his leadership, consider the record. During his first year in office, the Carney government has presided over:

  • A near doubling of the federal deficit, despite inheriting an already unsustainable fiscal position.

  • No meaningful resolution to Canada’s trade dispute with the United States, despite campaigning as the leader best equipped (“Elbows Up”) to confront President Trump and restore certainty under CUSMA. The United States is now signalling there may be little reason to renew the agreement.

  • No significant new international free trade agreements, relying instead on memoranda of understanding and limited bilateral arrangements, while China has reinstated tariffs it previously agreed to remove after Canada allowed the dumping of Chinese electric vehicles into its market.

  • Continued deficit spending contributing to the highest inflation rate in the G7 while Canadians struggle with the rising cost of living.

  • Weak economic growth, declining business confidence, and continued capital flight to the United States.

  • A weakening Canadian dollar, losing ground against the U.S. dollar and all other major G10 currencies.

  • Continued commitments of billions of taxpayer dollars overseas to conflicts that pose no direct threat to Canada’s national security while domestic priorities continue to deteriorate.

  • Persistently high food prices, an increasingly unaffordable housing market, and the second-highest unemployment rate in the G7.

By any reasonable measure, this is a horrific record for a man presented as one of the world’s foremost economists and former central bankers (and objectively a record of failure at both). While credentials are largely meaningless and mask poor policy decisions, we cannot say he is an idiot. So why would anyone lead their country down such a destructive path? The only answer we are left with is this: it is the intentional destruction of a country by an evil man for his own gain, and the gain of the elites that instruct him.

Some will dismiss this as partisan criticism, conspiracy theory, or blame global economic conditions. Yet economics is only part of the story. Some of the problems we are facing could be solved easily by doing the exact opposite of what Carney is currently doing. Equally troubling is the steady expansion of government power and control and the early implementation of the “surveillance state” at the expense of individual liberty and freedom. Canada is no longer free.

Consider the recent passing of Bill C-9. It expands Criminal Code hate offences and gives the government broader authority to prosecute hate-related speech. If a man cannot speak his mind without fear of prosecution, he is not free. If history is our guide, government will define “hate” and use it as a tyrannical bludgeon against those it despises and seeks to control. It will most certainly take aim at the Christian church. If it was really concerned about the proliferation of hate, this same government’s immigration policies would have closed the doors to two of the most hateful groups infiltrating the West: Muslims and Jews.

Across much of the Western world, governments increasingly pursue remarkably similar policies: higher spending, higher taxation, expanding bureaucracy, greater regulation of speech, mass immigration, and growing systems of digital surveillance and control. Whether led by Mark Carney, Keir Starmer, or Emmanuel Macron, the direction is strikingly similar. The names change; the governing philosophy does not. The globalists received their marching orders and went out to actively destroy the nations that elected them. Governments ultimately reveal their priorities through their actions, rather than the meaningless words spoken in canned speeches or social media soundbites.

A father who consistently provides for every child except his own cannot reasonably claim to love them. Likewise, a government that repeatedly asks Canadians to sacrifice while neglecting their prosperity, security, freedoms, and national cultural identity should not be surprised when citizens begin to question where its true loyalties lie. Mark Carney allowed one of his own children to sterilize themselves and transition into their make-believe identity. A man who permits and applauds the disfigurement of his own daughter is not even fit to run a family, let alone a nation.

Carney, Keir Starmer, and Emanuel Macron are the same cookie-cutter globalist leader, trained under the WEF banner whose clear goal is the subversion of Western ideals. They are the enemies of freedom and liberty and are ushering in the surveillance state to control the thoughts and actions of the people they secretly despise. Canada is willfully being stripped of its resources and summarily destroyed by the elites who control it. It is purposely being made less prosperous, less liveable, and less free than the country many Canadians inherited.

Nations are rarely demolished overnight. More often, they are slowly dismantled through a series of decisions made one at a time; “death by a thousand cuts.” When viewed collectively alongside their observable failures, it can only be concluded that evil men are hellbent on destroying a once great nation for their own gain and the well-being of its citizens a mere inconvenience to be ignored.

Happy Canada Day to all the delusional Canadians that think everything is just fine and have yet to feel the sting of “fatherly neglect” so many are living with.
